The Aesthetics Meeting 2015

This May, Dr. Sajjadian left sunny California for a few days and headed to Montreal, Canada. If you’re thinking it was a weekend of hitting the slopes and lounging in the hot tub, you’re mistaken. Dr. Sajjadian wasn’t there solely to enjoy the sights of beautiful Canada; he was in town to teach at a great conference, The Aesthetic Meeting 2015, held May 14-19th. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of his trip.

Rhinoplasty Society’s Annual Meeting

On Thursday, it was the annual meeting for The Rhinoplasty Society, a one-day event where rhinoplasty experts meet together. Dr. Sajjadian had the privilege of moderating a panel of experts on surgery of the nasal tip and ala. The panel was very well-received and a lively discussion ensued. It was a great start to the trip.

A Day-Long Rhinoplasty Symposium

One of Dr. Sajjadian’s favorite parts of the conference was a day-long rhinoplasty conference held on Friday. He was co-chair of the event, which welcomed rhinoplasty experts from around the globe. The symposium was co-sponsored by The Rhinoplasty Society and by ASAPS. The nine-hour event was very well attended (the large room was packed) and people stayed until the very end. It included an overview of the major aspects of rhinoplasty, as well as a variety of special topics.

Attendees enjoyed videos of rhinoplasty surgeries and several lively and interactive panels. With so much knowledge being presented, even a renowned rhinoplasty expert like Dr. Sajjadian left the symposium inspired. Dr. Sajjadian especially enjoyed the positive feedback after the conference. He put a lot of work into this event and it was very fulfilling to hear that surgeons from around the world benefit from the training.

After the great time spent in Montreal at the conference, Dr. Sajjadian came back reinvigorated and inspired. Even a triple-board certified, highly skilled surgeon needs an opportunity to hone their skills and learn new things. He’s already looking forward to next year’s conference.
