Dr. Sajjadian performs chemical peels on an outpatient basis within his gorgeous, relaxing office. Patients are allowed to return home immediately following the procedure, which typically lasts 15 to 30 minutes.

After the peel has been applied and begins to dry, you may feel a tingling or mild burning sensation. The extent of this sensation varies depending upon the type of peel.

Patients expect to peel to some degree after treatment, but the extent really depends on your skin’s condition.

You can resume normal activity after a chemical peel; however, you should avoid strenuous exercise and heavy sweating for 2-3 days.
- Gently apply a thin layer of moisturizer to the skin numerous times during the day, as recommended.
- Apply sunscreen with SPF30 or more.
- Avoid strenuous workouts, dry saunas, and steam rooms.
- Don’t over-exfoliate
