As one of the most sensual parts of the body, lips are widely seen as appealing when they are luscious and plump. In most cases, lips can tend to lose volume and shape as we age, becoming thin, undefined and a new source of wrinkles and lines. Dr. Sajjadian’s goal with lip enhancement is to create naturally soft, fuller and well-proportioned lips. Lip enhancement can have you looking and feeling younger, by adding volume back to your lips.
In some cases, thin lips are a trait you are born with. Lip enhancement can also be done to add volume and shape to lips that are naturally thin and undefined. Dr. Sajjadian will discuss the possibilities with you, in a personal consultation, to decide if lip enhancement will be able to provide you with fuller and plumper lips.

Lip enhancement is performed by injecting or implanting a natural or synthetic bicompatible material, or the patient’s own fat. The injections can typically done with one injection to produce the desired result, depending on which material is used. Some lip enhancements will last much longer than others, and all will produce different results.
Dr. Sajjadian will discuss the many filler options with you during an initial consultation prior to the lip enhancement procedure. Dr. Sajjadian takes time with each individual patient to discuss the desired result and expectations. He will create a personalized plan of action for your lip enhancement procedure that will help to achieve the desired result. Depending on the type of filler selected, lip enhancement patients can generally return to normal activities immediately. Harvesting fat from other areas of the body to use as filler, and sedation can make the recovery time longer. Dr. Sajjardian can inform you of any down time that may be necessary during your initial consultation.
